Q: How do I get salaries from Ashby?

Add includeCompensation=true. Without it, the compensation object is not returned at all.

Q: Should I use isRemote or workplaceType?

Use workplaceType. In our test, most jobs with isRemote set to true were listed as Hybrid.

Ashby has a public job posting API for career pages. It returns every published job for a company, and it can include pay ranges.

Short answer: send GET https://api.ashbyhq.com/posting-api/job-board/{board}?includeCompensation=true. {board} is the part after jobs.ashbyhq.com/. For Ramp, the request returned 157 open jobs when we checked on 2026-10-04.

Step by step

Find the board name. Click any job on the company's careers page. If the link looks like jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp/..., the board name is ramp.
Call https://api.ashbyhq.com/posting-api/job-board/ramp?includeCompensation=true.
Read jobs. Each job has id, title, department, team, employmentType, location, secondaryLocations, address, isRemote, workplaceType, publishedAt, jobUrl, applyUrl, descriptionHtml and descriptionPlain.
With includeCompensation=true, jobs that publish pay also have compensation: a readable compensationTierSummary (for example "$211.4K to $290.6K, Offers Equity" for one Ramp role), scrapeableCompensationSalarySummary, and summaryComponents with minValue, maxValue, currencyCode and interval.

Field notes

Field	What to know

`isListed`	If false, the job is only reachable by direct link. Skip it if you mirror the public board.
`publishedAt`	When the job was last published, so a re-published job can look new

Common problems

404: the board name is wrong or the company moved to another ATS. Copy the board name from a real job link.
No salary: you left out includeCompensation=true, or the company does not publish pay for that job.
Remote looks wrong: for Ramp, 142 of 157 jobs had isRemote: true, but 128 of those were Hybrid in workplaceType. Use workplaceType when you need fully remote jobs.
Many companies: you need a loop, error handling, a list of board names and a way to keep only new jobs.
